chargeFUZE Partnership: 5 Years of Shared Power Bank Success

chargeFUZE Partnership: 5 Years of Shared Power Bank Success

The chargeFUZE partnership with WeLink Energy began in 2021, starting with shared power bank hardware and gradually expanding into a long-term global cooperation covering charging stations, large-capacity cabinets and digital advertising solutions.

What began as a hardware cooperation has gradually developed into a long-term partnership covering product development, manufacturing, customization and scalable deployment.

Today, chargeFUZE has grown into a major portable phone charging network serving high-traffic locations, venues and events across multiple international markets.

According to chargeFUZE, its network now extends across more than 40 U.S. states and seven countries, with deployments in hundreds of stadiums and arenas and at hundreds of major events each year.

For WeLink Energy, the cooperation with chargeFUZE demonstrates how a shared power bank project can evolve from a charging service into a much broader technology, media and venue-engagement platform.

Our Cooperation Began in 2021

When our cooperation started in 2021, chargeFUZE was already focused on building a scalable mobile charging network for high-traffic commercial environments.

Rather than relying on a single type of station, the project required different hardware configurations for different locations.

Over the years, we have worked together on a broad product portfolio including:

1:5-slot compact charging stations

2:15-slot charging kiosks

3:25-slot charging kiosks

4:45-slot large-capacity stations

5:100-slot advertising charging cabinets

6:200-slot large-format charging cabinets with digital displays

This multi-size hardware strategy allows chargeFUZE to match station capacity with the traffic and operating requirements of each location.

Smaller stations can be deployed in restaurants, hospitality environments and smaller commercial locations, while larger screen-equipped cabinets are particularly suitable for airports, shopping centers, stadiums, arenas, entertainment venues, festivals and other high-traffic destinations.

chargeFUZE’s own current product and event materials show charging solutions ranging from compact units to large stations capable of holding as many as 200 portable chargers.

Supporting Expansion Across International Markets

As the chargeFUZE network expanded, hardware requirements also became more complex.

The cooperation therefore evolved beyond basic manufacturing into supporting a system designed for large-scale deployment across different markets and commercial environments.

Based on our cooperation, chargeFUZE stations have been deployed across major markets including:

United States, Canada, France, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Different markets and locations require different station capacities, branding, screen configurations and deployment strategies. A scalable hardware platform therefore became an important part of supporting chargeFUZE’s international growth.

Today, its charging network can be found across environments such as stadiums, arenas, casinos, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, transportation hubs and large-scale events. chargeFUZE publicly identifies many of these high-traffic categories as core deployment scenarios for its network.

From Shared Power Banks to a Media Network

One of the most important developments in chargeFUZE’s business model has been the introduction of adFUZE.

Traditional shared power bank stations primarily generate revenue through power bank rentals.

chargeFUZE has taken the concept further.

By combining large charging cabinets with integrated digital displays, the same infrastructure can provide both:

Mobile charging services + Digital advertising inventory.

This transforms the charging station from a simple rental device into a digital engagement point inside high-value physical locations.

Through adFUZE, digital advertisements can be displayed across chargeFUZE screens installed in high-traffic venues.

The company describes adFUZE as a Digital Out-of-Home advertising platform capable of delivering both direct and programmatic advertising through chargeFUZE’s screen network.

For advertisers, the model creates opportunities to engage consumers in locations such as:

stadiums, casinos, entertainment venues, festivals, shopping centers and other destinations where visitors spend significant amounts of time.

For venue operators, the same infrastructure can provide a useful customer amenity while creating additional advertising and sponsorship opportunities.

Why Large-Screen Charging Cabinets Became Important

As chargeFUZE expanded into larger venues, the role of the charging station itself began to change.

A 100-slot or 200-slot charging cabinet is no longer simply a device for storing power banks.

The integrated digital display turns the station into a highly visible physical media asset.

This creates a combination of three functions:

Charging Infrastructure + Customer Engagement + Advertising Media

Users approach the station because they have a genuine charging need. At the same time, the screen creates an opportunity for brands, sponsors and venues to communicate with users in a high-traffic environment.

This relationship between chargeFUZE and adFUZE has become an important part of the wider FUZE Technology strategy. FUZE Technology describes its broader model as combining IoT utility hardware with consumer engagement, first-party data and advertising opportunities.

Hardware Designed for Scale

For a network operating across multiple countries and hundreds of locations, hardware scalability and consistency are critical.

Throughout our cooperation, WeLink Energy has focused on supporting chargeFUZE with manufacturing capabilities suitable for continued network expansion.

This includes support for different station capacities, customized cabinet structures, integrated displays, branded appearances and production requirements for larger deployments.

The result is a hardware ecosystem capable of serving very different environments—from smaller commercial venues to some of the highest-traffic entertainment and sports destinations.

For us, this is also an important example of what OEM and ODM cooperation in the shared power bank industry can become.

A successful long-term project requires more than simply delivering hardware.

It requires the ability to continuously adapt products as the customer’s business model, deployment environments and market scale evolve.

Growing Together for More Than Five Years

From 2021 to today, our cooperation with chargeFUZE has continued through multiple stages of growth.

During this period, the chargeFUZE business has evolved from a mobile charging network into a broader technology ecosystem built around charging infrastructure, venue partnerships and digital advertising.

Its public network today includes major venues and events, while adFUZE is creating another layer of commercial value from the same physical infrastructure.

For WeLink Energy, the chargeFUZE project represents exactly the kind of long-term cooperation we aim to build with our international partners:

Start with reliable hardware.
Build a scalable network.
Continuously improve the product.
Develop new revenue models.
Expand into international markets.

Looking Toward the Next Stage

chargeFUZE and FUZE Technology continue to expand their charging and advertising ecosystem, combining physical IoT infrastructure with digital media opportunities.

As the business continues toward its next stage of development and long-term capital-market ambitions, scalable infrastructure will remain an important foundation for future growth.

We are proud that our cooperation has continued since 2021 and that WeLink Energy has been able to support chargeFUZE through multiple stages of its development.

From compact charging stations to 200-slot digital advertising cabinets, the evolution of the project reflects a larger transformation taking place within the shared power bank industry.

The future is no longer simply about renting a power bank.

It is about building a connected network that combines:

charging, IoT, software, venues, consumer engagement and digital advertising.

And we look forward to continuing to grow together with chargeFUZE in the years ahead.
